What it does
- Street cleaning and sanitation
- Public space management and open streets
- Marketing the neighborhood and its businesses, with a business directory on its website
- Essex Market
- A community newsletter about events, businesses and ways to get involved
The planned expansion
The Partnership is exploring an expansion of its district to more blocks and businesses, guided by a steering committee that includes a Seward Park Co-op representative. A community needs survey is part of the first phase. It hasn't named the streets that would be added. We'll follow it here.
For Grand Street co-op residents
An expansion could affect sanitation, public spaces and the businesses along Grand Street, so the survey and public meetings are worth watching.
